Insect Repellent
One of Grandma’s favorite uses for this trick was to keep insects away naturally. The strong scent of both onion and clove repels mosquitoes, flies, and even ants.
Just place one or two of these “onion balls” near open windows, doors, or outdoor dining areas — and you’ll notice a significant reduction in pests.
