Step 5: Dispose of the sheet in the trash
This step is important!
Never flush a dryer sheet down the toilet. Dryer sheets are not designed to break down like toilet paper and may contribute to a plumbing blockage.
Place the used sheet in a waste bin.
Step 6: Finish with your normal toilet-cleaning routine
Use a toilet cleaner according to its label and clean with a toilet brush as needed.
A dryer sheet does not disinfect the toilet or replace routine cleaning.
